Appropriate for this Thanksgiving season, I just wanted to give a shout out to some members here who have put in extraordinary efforts to make this forum so vibrant and helpful.

The "Movie Store" section of the forum has become the most active and popular area, and a big part of that should be credited to @JohnJ, @Kostas, and @MAttHEATLifer for their amazing work in assembling new releases that are coming and linking those to the store purchase page when they become available. I'm amazed out how much work they put in to keep this info up to date for us. I shop the store starting with their posts about 10x as often as I purchase via browsing on the Kaleidescape store or from the official Store email promotions.

Ditto for the great work that @ironcross puts in, becoming a specialist in monitoring the K store for move price changes and summarizing those for us. Thank you!!

And, for those of us who love downloading scripts and favorite scene files for our Kaleidescape systems, drop a message of thanks here to @JohnJ (who helped resurrect this who part of the forum) and to @CINERAMAX IOPH who has contributed lots of great scripts as well. If you're a new owner who is not downloading scripts and favorite scene files, you're missing out! Check out the "Resources" area of the forum, or message @JohnJ if you want some help.

And of course, I'm incredibly grateful for @cinelife being my partner here, and the guy that really does all the work answering those tough questions and facilitating things between the company and this forum. Jim is closing in on his 4,000th post here on the forum... #1 on the leaderboard by a wide margin.

Others who have entered the 1K club here (>1000 posts) include @JohnJ (again!), @JerryL, @Mr.Poindexter, and @Kostas. This place would be really lacking without all their time and helpful contributions.

And @MikeKobb is approaching 900 posts here and represents an incredible resource for us all... tackling the toughest tech questions and representing the company here. @J.Green is another hero from Kaleidescape helping us all out here with amazing technical knowledge.

Thanks to each of you, and to all the forum members who contribute time, funding, and knowledge.

A last special thank you to the generous "Patron" sponsors and the "Premium" membership members who have contributed funds to the running of this forum. They're my heroes here as well... making it possible to keep running this forum.

Best wishes for Thanksgiving to you all,

--josh

Just echoing Josh here, incredibly grateful to have all of you folks participating in and supporting the Forum, THANK YOU!

I also want to thank my incredible friend Josh, without him there wouldn't be an owner's forum!! He certainly is the brains behind all of the work that goes into keeping the forum operational, and he makes me look good!!!🙂 (Thanks Buddy!!)

Best to you all, always!

Jim

I stumbled upon this Forum about 5+ years ago and I haven't found a better bunch of guys that will go out of their way to help in every way they can.
Even now, @J.Green is helping with a problem I'm having today.
On Thanksgiving no less!
Jim is always there to help too. As are so many other people that are ready, willing, and able to help...
I am truly Thankful to be part of this community...
And on top of all that, I get to enjoy my cool Kaleidescape system!

Well said Chris.....especially the part about me....😁

On a serious note, nothing we do here would matter without you guys, and I know I speak for Josh as well when I say we are truly grateful for all the memberships, and in particular the folks who continue to share here on a regular basis, you guys really are awesome!

Jim

Thank you to all for running such a great forum! I definitely enjoy keeping up on all the latest K news.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Very thankful for the forum. Please remember this is not an official forum and takes real money to keep it up and running. Please consider upgrading your account in support.

Thank you @josh @cinelife for making this such a great place.

Hard for even me to believe, but the forum opened up to its first 3 members on May 29, 2006, so it's now been running continuously for 14½ years! Very much a testament to the longevity of the Kaleidescape products, the commitment of the company and its employees, and the passion we owners have for the systems!

How's this for a time warp: @cinelife's first post here (August 2006) who had just received his first Kaleidescape system and was eager to "finally get to see this thing in action"!
