Taxi Driver 4K

Sony is re-releasing Taxi Driver in a 4K Steelbook on June 25th. That would be great timing for an HDR refresh of the K Store offering.

Taxi Driver was one of the early 4K UHD releases on K, and has never been revisited for HDR. It was released on disc in 2021 as part of the Columbia Classics Vol 2, featuring HDR/Dolby Vision. The release in June will be a single disc release that is expected to be the same transfer.

So, even if K doesn't do an update, this would be a chance for folks to grab the movie in its highest quality for less than the current selling price of the box set ($$$). Then, do a D2D on it and bump up those K Store numbers so maybe it gets a little more attention.
