Strato Setup with new account

Hi,

I joined the forum a year ago but just now am getting my first Kaleidescape. I'm getting a friends old 10 GB Strato who is upgrading to recently announced V with terra. I want to properly erase his account and setup my own. Is there a documented procedure to this?

Also I wanted to thank Cinelife (Jim) and techthusiasm (Jaremy) for answering my direct message questions I've had on the equipment. Really looking forward to using this platform as a longtime Plex and panasonic UB820 user.

When the Strato is factory reset (there are options to do this in the settings menu) and then booted up again, it should go right the initial setup which includes an activation step. You'll enter an email address. In a subsequent email will be an opportunity to register a new account that will tie to that Strato, and then you're good to go with the hardware and the store.

Thank you...I wasn't sure if everything needed to be manually deleted or anything like that.
