Strato-C reboot while watching a movie

Last night while watching Oppenheimer, the screen went blank and the Strato-C rebooted. I am new to KScape, so wanted to see if anyone else had experienced a reboot while watching a movie. Thx.

That's a new one for me, but obviously sounds like an electrical interruption to the Strato. I'd probably wait to see if it was just a weird glitch, but you might also consider notifying your dealer to have them check with K Support (or check directly yourself). They may see something on their end, and at a minimum you'll create a record of the problem.

Have not had this happen in a couple years of using Kaleidescape, definitely not a common thing I've seen on the forums either. Would probably be a good idea to reach out to support, just so they can pull the logs from your equipment and have a record, in case it does happen again. I wouldn't be overly concerned. Could just be a freak occurrence, or if it does happen again the equipment has a 5-year warranty.

Jim, In this case, consider my dealer (you!), notified! I will send you a PM to see what is the best way to have KScape look into this. Thx.

You're too slow, I had already reached out to K when I saw your post.🤣 I posted that as an answer to you question, and as info to anyone else that reads it, now or in the future!:)

Do me a favor and confirm the serial number (email me), we must have copied it wrong.

Just for others (the owner has already been notified), according to K Support/Engineering this turned out to be a temporary processing glitch and should be resolved. It is not expected to happen again.
