Server Help

Hi

i don't know if you can help and my dealer is not open until Tuesday.

We watched a film yesterday evening and I noticed that the server said that an update was pending.

This morning I notice that the M700 is amber, I go to the equipment cabinet and so is the M500 and Server. looking at the router it can see the M500 and M700 but not the server.

It would seem like something has happened during a software update. I tried turning the server off but the power button on the front is non responsive.

Also, no drive has a flashing blue led which I thought it normally did.

i does seem that the software update happened overnight and now there server is a little bit broken!

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks

If the power button isn't responding, unplug the unit for a minute and try again. That would be my first suggestion. The flashing Blue is the hot spare, maybe you had a failed drive and a rebuild is in process??? (but you should still see the server).

It might also be a power supply issue.

Thank Jim, unfortunately that did not work.

Hopefully not power supply as only had a new server not that long ago for a new power supply.

You need to have support take a look at your "logs," call or email Support, they should be able to help.
