Benefits of registering for a full account:

    • Participate in the discussions! You must have a registered account to make posts on the forums. You will be able to start your own thread on a topic or question, or you can reply to other threads/discussions.
    • Use the "Conversation" feature (known as "private messaging" on other forums) to communicate directly with any of the other users here.
    • Access the Files area. The "resources" area of the forum contains many "Favorite Scene" and Script files that can dramatically increase the enjoyment of your Kaleidescape system. Go directly to great scenes in your favorite movies, created by other owners, and add automation to playback of your system with Scripts.
    • You won't see this annoying notice at the top of every screen!😊

It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

For more information on purchasing a Premium or Patron membership, please see the Account Upgrades section of your user profile.

SOLD: PRICE REDUCED (AGAIN) - Qty. (4) 4TB Drives for Premiere 1U Server (KDISK-4000-L) - $1,625 Including Shipping

As part of my migration to Encore, I was able to downsize and eliminate a 1U server. I'm keeping the 1U server for a backup but selling the set of (4) 4TB drives. These are all in perfect working order and ready to be installed as a set into an empty 1U server. You will need to supply your own 1U server and an M-class player to create a working Premiere system.

Asking $1,625 via PayPal for the (4) drives with insured FedEx shipping included. Each drive will be packed in a static bag and thoroughly covered with bubble wrap.

This will provide nearly 12TB of useable space in the RAID set which is enough capacity for approximately 321 Blu-rays, 1,774 DVDs or 19,816 CDs. All of the existing content has been moved to the trash for the new owner to delete.

See below and attached for pictures of each drive.

Still available - make me an offer!
Hi Kicker, as we know you can only use all 4 Disks at once in a system. So i need only 2 disks to upgrade my 1U server from 2 Disks to 4 disks. It would be profitable for me when i get your four disks for about 800.- an i import all the movies new to the system. Otherwise i would upgrade the server with 1 or two new KDisk 6TB. What do you think.... Greetings Martin

Doesn't sound like these are a good fit for your situation. As you said, you need to use all (4) of these as a set in an empty 1U server. Will list these on eBay soon to reach a wider audience as I don't see any drive sets for sale as of right now.

Yes. They will function normally if they are installed as a set in a 3U and can have additional HDD's added to them.
Thanks for letting me know :)

Let me see if another deal I'm trying to make for something else goes through, as that would be determining whether i could do this or not :)

Great - I could get these shipped out as early as this afternoon with payment via Venmo being best for me.

I don't have Venmo, haven't looked into it, but i only have credit cards, so if they're like cash app and only works with debit cards, then they're a no go for me.

I do have PayPal though, and that's by far my preferred method.

PayPal works too - no problem (although Venmo is free and owned by PayPal so you should check it out!). Send me a private message with your email address and I can send you a PayPal payment request if you'd like to move forward.

Updated to $1,625 via PayPal. Also listed on eBay but slightly higher given the fees. I'd always rather sell here.
