Paused Movie list question

I keep having movies show up on my paused list that I have never watched or even selected to view the synopses.
I am the only person that lives in the house and no one else has access to my system.
How and/or why is this happening.
I welcome any ideas as to the possibilities.
Thank you,
Chris

Do you have more than one device? Could a second player be picking up stray IR when you are interacting with a different player?

I get this happening to me all of the time because I have a stack of 6 players on my desk and if I'm not careful, they all pick up the same IR signal.

Thanks for the reply John,
I only have a single M700 as my player.
My system as a whole is:
KServer 5000
M700
DV700

I've seen the opposite issue with my setup. I pause a movie and it doesn't show up on the list when I look later on.... No big deal, I just find it but strange. SJ

It's an annoyance more than anything else.
I bet if I asked on FB I would get a dozen different conspiracy theories from the masses.
Maybe it's aliens accessing my system from their orbit around the Moon.

If you have a Premiere server, items in the Paused list can age out and be removed from the list. The default behaviour is to only remember paused movies for 2 days. You can change this setting on the server's browser interface General Settings page.

I clear the paused list on a regular basis and the next time I cycle the system on, I will have movies that I did not watch on the paused list.
It's not a big deal, just curious...

Are you controlling the M700 with an IR remote or a control system/mobile app? Do you have some other disc-player in the same room/rack that uses IR control? Kaleidescape players use standard Kenwood and/or Toshiba IR control codes for the general transport controls so if you're sending IR command to a Blu-ray player, for example, the Kaleidescape player could be picking that up as well.

Alternately, it could be a caching issue but that would require some log surfing to figure out.

If it reaches a point where need a definitive answer, you should reach out to the Support team to get them to take a look. You should include your server serial number as well as some example titles that you were not expecting to see in the paused list (along with some rough dates/times if possible).

Thanks John,
I use the K remote for the M700.
I don't have any control system and I don't run any other equipment when I have the K-system on. Only my Yamaha Amp for the surround sound.
It's a mystery, but no big deal.
I appreciate your input as always.
Thanks,

Chris
