One Strato C Player won't display all movies

I have an 8TB Terra Prime and two Strato C players. They've been working fine until today. For some reason one of the players won't display all the movies no matter what I do. I've restarted it multiple times and I've checked parental controls and made sure it's set to 'All movies'.

Currently, only 19 movies out of 65 total are showing up. There's no discernible rhyme or reason, either - it's a mix of kids and adult movies that still show up. The other player shows all movies just fine.

Any ideas what's going on or how to fix it?

If the movies not being displayed are HDR, and the display does not support HDR, or the EDID between the player and display is indicating no HDR support, then those movies won't be playable. Given that you said it was working until today, I assume your display supports HDR, so might be the second issue.

If all the movies were displayed previously, but are no longer being displayed, try powering the components (anything in the chain) On and Off. You should also be sure the cables are good, and if possible change the HDMI cable just to rule that out.

Recheck your Player settings as well.

This must have been it. It works now.

I didn’t think to power cycle the AV Receiver and TV. One of them must have negotiated a lower resolution/HDMI throughout. Maybe it’s a bad cable or incorrect setting on the AV Receiver. I’ll keep an eye out now that I know what to look for.

Many thanks.
