Official Disc Media Expanded Bookmarks Check Thread

I am awaiting delivery on ISS and The Moon on Monday. I am doubtful they will be even recognized but I will report it here once confirmed.

I.S.S was recognized but missing information and no video bookmarks.

I will watch these films in the next few days and send them in for video bookmarking (if I like them).

The Moon had pretty spectacular visuals. It had a little too much action to my taste. I think they could have ended it without the twist at the end. Normally I like twist endings but this one was a bit too much. I can see myself watching it again sometime down the road. It has great scenes worthy of being demo material. The Moon is from Well Go USA. I really hoped we got this film to the store but so far we haven’t.

I.S.S. was what I exactly anticipated, a middle of the road sci-fi flick. I think the story had a lot of potential. The isolation in the space station is a perfect setup for a great thriller. I was never scared or overly excited about the hard sci-fi elements. I doubt this film will impress anyone other than hardcore sci-fi fans (like myself). Nevertheless, I always welcome any film with realistic space vehicles and stations. The I.S.S. depicted here was pretty accurate (given their low budgets). Pilou Asbæk (Game of Thrones, Ghost in the Shell) was great as always.

I imported Monsters (2010) today. I can confirm that this disc has full video bookmarks.

Video Bookmarked Blu-ray discs:

Moonwalker is UK Blu-ray, also available on UK K store on digital.

Video Bookmarked DVDs:

The Girlie Show is UK DVD, bookmarked for play concert but not individual songs.

No video bookmark update yet but this film now can be bought from the digital store in the UK.

No video bookmark on these.

These titles aren’t recognized by the Premiere systems.

About Dry Grasses (2023) is not recognized therefore no video bookmarks.

Once Upon a Time in Anatolia ( 2011) is fully video bookmarked.

The Wild Pear Tree (2018) is recognized but no video bookmarks.

Distant (2002) is recognized but without video bookmarks.

Three Monkeys (2008) is recognized but without bookmarks.

Winter Sleep (2014) is available on the Kaleidescape digital store.

The Outer Limits is video bookmarked.

The A Team box set is on its way. I will report here once I confirm the video bookmarks.

The Doctor Who New Who Blue Ray set is only partially recognized. It is a 58 Blu Ray collection and Kaleidescape does not recognize the first 14 discs are not recognized, as well as discs 18, 21, 22 and Season 7 discs 2 and 3.

King Kong (1976) is recognized but no video bookmarks.

It is also available on the K store but in SD only. D2D is $11.77.

I just tallied up the costs to do a D2D for the Doctor Who set and it is $363.99 which is just way too much for me to pay just for getting them bookmarked.

I really wish there were better D2D upgrades on TV series, but I rarely see the kind of discounts that movies get.

Lords of the Deep isn’t recognized.

This was a limited 1500 copy only release. I didn’t expect it to be in the database. I had to get it to complete 1989 underwater films collection. The other films in this collection are The Abyss, Leviathan, and DeepStar Six.

Prey (2022) is fully video bookmarked.

I will eventually streamline this thread to have a comprehensive list in the initial post. I am importing a dozen or so discs. I will update here once I confirm their status in the K database.

The Crimson Rivers 2: Angels of the Apocalypse isn’t recognized.

Did anyone import the Kino Lorber’s The Crimson Rivers Blu-ray release and confirm the video bookmark status?

I have the very early (2009) Taiwanese release with subpar video. I am considering upgrading to the new Kino version.

Snow Falling on Cedars (1999) is fully video bookmarked.

The K store version is SD only.
