As you know, the old M-Class Player upgrade allowance recently ended. K announced a new upgrade program that provides for a 15% credit (off of cost of M-Player) for 2011. Check with your dealer for terms and conditions.

Out of curiosity what was the original upgrade offer and how long did it last...

Thanks,

Joel, for a few months it was 50% credit for returning a 1080p Player and 25% credit for any other KPLAYER model. K had given notice that the 50% credit was only good for a few months (ended at end of July IIRC), and thereafter any player (including 1080p) would receive a 25% credit and all credit would end December 31st, which it did.

They recently decided to offer a new credit program and just announced the 15% noted above. Certainly would have been better for owner's to upgrade under the earlier upgrade offer, but at least there is a credit still available (although I think 1080p Players still have resale values that exceed the credit amount mentioned). The credit probably works best for 2500 owners.
