New kOS release supports disc cataloging on Strato

I see some of you had success with 4K UHD Blu-ray discs. I have an external Toshiba HD-DVD-ROM drive and about 400 HD-DVDs. What are the odds the K system will recognize them as DVDs and give me D2D? Should I try it for the sake of science? :)
I love some science. Given how long ago the format went obsolete, I'll give decent odds that they will actually appear as D2D valid in whatever database K is pulling from, after you manually enter the UPCs anyway.

There are actually quite a few HD-DVDs that were dual format, HD-DVD and DVD. So those work (I tried), but I don't have an external HD-DVD drive to hook up

Yes I have many of those and I already claimed their D2D. I have the Xbox add on drive and a Toshiba HD-DVD-ROM drive.

There are very few HD-DVD exclusives left. The Phantom of the Opera (2004) has Dolby True HD soundtrack on the HD-DVD version and the Blu-ray release is Dolby Digital 5.1 for example.

I will try the HD-DVD-ROM drive but I need to bring my HD-DVDs from the storage first.

I was able to get it work again by restarting both my Strato and Terra from the web interface.
Thank you for posting this as my portable BD player that I had connected to the Strato to catalog also stopped working. All I could think of was maybe the HDMI cable went bad as the discs could still be cataloged using my M700. Turned out that when I restarted using the web interface as you did the problem went away and I'm good to go now.
