Got this from K a few minutes ago:

"Tomorrow, we are launching a James Bond superbundle, all 25 films, including No Time to Die are available to "build" your bundle at a major discount."

If you don't have all the Bond films, this is a chance to pick them up at a discount!

Wow wow wow! This end of May my eyes are going to get really tired looking at the magic screen! Obi-Wan Kenobi and Stranger Things in a few days were already on my schedule. Now I see a 007 marathon in the near horizon!

Good start to the day. Downloading the last 9 movies right now. Stacking up a lot of movies to watch as soon as tha lterations are complete (having some work done in home cinema as I type this). All good. thanks for the heads up.

So, uhm, yesterday I upgraded these from my blu-rays. And paid $10 more per title. Yesterday.

At last! Immediate buy from me to complete my Bond collection. Now for the 4K version of Game of Thrones and I can get rid of those discs as well.

It's a great price if you've never bought them before. A bit on the high-side if you're just getting the 4k entitlement, but definitely better than normal.

Hmm let me see, the Criterion Laserdiscs first then the later prints then the DVDs, twice the Blu-rays and the few released on UHD discs a couple of years ago. My wallet surely hates Bond movies :) Watched Dr. No last night, it looked great on UHD, a marked upgrade from the Blu-rays.

Agreed. The sale prices are better than the $25+ per movie, but being an owner of the entire disc box set, it sure would be nice if the studio showed they cared more about us with even deeper discounts. I guess the greedy will always be greedy… sad!!

Neither is Never Say Never Again, but at least that one is in the regular Bond collection. Casino Royale (1966) just misses all the boats.
I hadn't realized Never Say Never Again wasn't included in the sale. I'll be honest, I'd never even heard of the Casino Royale 1966 version until this thread.

That's because it (CR) was never accepted as one of the Bond films when it was produced. Feldman acquired the rights many years earlier, but couldn't reach an agreement with Saltzman and Broccoli on a joint production. He changed the film mode to more satire because he was concerned if he tried to make it in the more serious tone of the existing Bond films it would fail. He was likely right, and as satire it did well, but never found its place in the main Bond line.
