Our new system labels every post with the name and a graphic (avatar) for each user.

Until you make your own avatar, yours will be a generic one that is your first initial in a colored circle. (boring!)
I'd encourage everyone to make or upload an avatar as your posts will look better with a little image for you.

You can use any image you want as your avatar... maybe you'll use the same one you use for facebook or twitter... or you can make your own.

The only prohibited avatar graphic is the Kaleidescape Logo, as using this logo may make it appear to other users that you are representing Kaleidescape, Inc.

(exception: Kaleidescape employees and execs CAN choose the Kaleidescape logo as their avatar)

You can just search on google image search to find nice graphics you could use.

(Wordpress / Gravatar users: If you've made an avatar with the "gravatar" system, it should be accessible here for you in the box where you create a new avatar.)
