Netflix on the Big K

None at this point.

Does Netflix let you purchase a movie rather than just rent it? I'm not sure an interface to a streaming source makes much sense for the K system as it sits. You'd want something more like what the PS3 store does, allows you to purchase movies and store them on the hard drive for playing any time.

IMHO, the largest content related things that could be added to the system are a Blue Ray solution (even if it's just selling a Blue-Ray Juke Box and managing the content on it just like it's on the server), and coming up with some sort of downloadable content solution. iTunes integration makes the most sense for music simply due to sheer volume of content and widespread acceptance. For movies, however, it's more difficult as the major content providers seem to be streaming providers and you'd need someone who would allow for direct download of high quality movie files, has a catalogue large enough to make it worth-while, and is going to be around in 5 years.
