My First Set of Favourite Scenes

Thought I'd share some of the favourite scenes I've created over the past couple of weeks.

I indexed a lot of my favourite acts from the 4 disc Live 8 DVD set and then some of the Shorts/deleted scenes accessible from the DVD menus from some movies. Because of the ease of getting to the actual movie, I sometimes forget about some of the extras that are available.

GREAT!!! So glad to have another Fav-Scene creator here... we have lots of downloaders and very few uploaders!

Can you list the movies with scenes in your file?

Sure thing. I'll be adding more scenes soon. I'm trying to do 1 movie a day. Here's what's in the file attached to this thread:

21 (3 featurettes in the bonus material)
101 Dalmations (Music video, some deleted songs, "Making of" featurette)
American History X (3 deleted scenes)
Any Given Sunday (The "Inches" speech)
Cars (2 shorts: "Mater and the Ghost Light" and "One Man Band")
Gladiator ("What we do in life" speech)
Ice Age (Scrat's "Gone Nutty" short)
Live 8 (Lots of song based scenes)
Open Season ("Boog and Elliot's Midnight Bun Run" short)
Ratatouille ("Your Friend The Rat" short)
The Sound of Music (a couple of songs)

Also some scenes for One Six Right, and the two Kalahari movies.

I cannot import your file:

"This file does not seem to be a list of Favorite Scenes that was exported from a Kaleidescape System"

Thanks V

I cannot import your file:

"This file does not seem to be a list of Favorite Scenes that was exported from a Kaleidescape System"

I'm having the same issue. I've tried the file using multiple browsers on both Windows and OS X and tried importing to multiple versions of KEAOS and am unable to import the file. I can confirm that I am able to import other favourite scene files (such as the ones posted in other threads) to the same servers.

Questions for Jimmy73:
1. What browser/OS combination were you using when you exported the file?
2. What version of KEAOS is your server running?

Same here... couldn't import it. said file wasn't valid. Jimmy, can you try re-exporting the file and reposting it here?

General question. I have two different computers: one with windows xp and the other runs mac osx leopard. I haven't tried jimmy's file but I have found I can never download fav scenes files via the mac but I always can via the pc? Is this the way it should be?

Is your K system still running KEAOS 3.6.x? If so, you're encountering a problem with the way that OS X mungs the header when it uploads the .DAT file to the K server.

This has been fixed for 3.7.0 so you should be able to import favourite scene files using a Mac with no difficulty.

Another version of the export

Here is the file again.
- KEAOS version is 3.7.
- Mac OS X/Firefox 3.07
