Music Player Custom Installation

If anyone has any suggestions I would be genuinely grateful.

I am currently specing a job for a customer looking to control three music rooms. Idealistically I am looking for an amp with a variable line output that can control each stream independently. The speakers are active so it doesn't need to have any form of power amplification.

This is the one I have already been recommended, however it doesn't fit all of the prerequisites. http://nadelectronics.com/products/custom-installations/CI9060-Power-Amplifier

Once again if you can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

So you want to be able to control the input gain of your sources?

The Kaleidescape music player doesn't have volume control, so what I am looking for is a pre amp not a power amp. Perhaps because most multi room setups have passive speakers something like this is not available. I guess I could always just get individual units for each zone, just trying to save on space.

Thanks for your recommendation.

Active speakers? If they are Meridian Id say go with one of their processors. Meridian has a good line up of in wall speakers and I believe they can now do multi zone.
