Moving A Stratos To Another Home

todo

Well-known member
Here is a trick question - I have a Stratos paired with my Premier system at my home using Costar.
Can I take the Stratos out and take it to my second home for a few days (IP address changes etc ?? or does it??) and use it to watch the movies on it and also download movies I buy...
Will the Stratos work at this location and will I be able to download movies on it?
And then later when I bring it back to my home will there be issues including it in the paired system?
Thanks.

You can just take the Strato (no -s) with you. If it has a manually-assigned IP address, you may need to change that if you want to actually download movies at the new location. If you just want to watch movies already on the player, you don't even need to connect it to the network.

One note: the Premiere player with which it's paired will not be usable while the Strato is away. If that's important, you'd want to un-pair them before taking the Strato away. Otherwise, though, it should just re-establish the paired relationship automatically when you bring it home again.
