Movieposter App and Kaleidescape Co star

Quick question to folks that are more DIY in their home theater builds.

Has anyone used the Movieposter App for their home theater movie poster?

I am in the process of building out my screen and using the Kaleidescape connector to pull up the imagery of the movies that are in my premiere system and about to integrate it with a Costar and my encore Strato player.

I"m wondering if anyone has had experience running the app with a Costar?

Thanks,

Mike

I know basically nothing about the app, but regarding Co-Star, the aim with that feature is to make it look as much as possible as if the entire library of both paired systems is available on the Strato player. So unless the poster app is doing something unexpected, just pointing it at the Strato should work.

Thanks Mike. Just finally setup the system and it looks like pointing it to the Strato allows for it to trigger the movie poster for the 4k movies running on the Strato. When it triggers the premiere player, it doesn't show up at all. When paired, even when pointing the app to the premiere player, it no longer shows the poster.

I'll reach out to the movie poster developer and see what they say... will keep you posted!

Cheers,

Mike
