MGM

I am very happy to get this studios and titles! I will be freeing up 20-30 slots in my vault.

As others have said:
- 4K titles have Dolby Atmos (where available)
- 11 out of 15 4K titles are not available on disc in 4K (I will update the list)
- No D2D

All-in-all, a very good day! Thank you Kaleidescape!

The only other thing I was looking for was whether there were scenes marked - and there ARE. So the only studio that does not allow marking of scenes by Kaleidescape (we can mark our own) is Paramount.

Yes, my understanding (no inside information) is that Paramount would not allow this.

It’s a great feature and I don’t see any wrong but that the studio demand and it’s respected

Thx Jhon

Yes, and it’s nice that we can still mark our own scenes. I had a lot of Paramount titles on disc that had K marked scenes. Once these showed up on the store without scenes marked, I copied these sciences over from the disc and posted these scenes to the download page if anyone is interested.

Also' while your there make sure to download Peter’s “Cedia Topsmerssive Alcons Demo” script. This is a GREAT audio demo.

I haven't looked yet but plan to update the November & December releases. I will post here when I have done that.

Cool. Is the script referenced one of the ones you shared on the forum?

MGM made its way to the UK store earlier today.
Surprisingly, prices have been listed at a lower price of £12.99 hd / uhd £22.99 in comparison to the US store - $26.99 / $31.99.
I think that’s a first, some uk uhd titles from other studios are still listed at £36.99 ($48.40).

Also, still no sign of Bond. )-:

Whoo hoo, Wargames for not much more than usual D2D pricing (Inc acquiring physical)

This could be an expensive scenario...

Think I’ll ask Joshua... 😁🤓

There’s some seriously epic films there... at the “right” price point too. Some of the rarer ones are the same ballpark to buy on blu-ray.

Does get me thinking about what quality the transfer is again per a thread I posted a while back about Criterion/Arrow/Eureka/Artificial Eye etc.

A fish called Wanda is £7.49 for the bluray Disc on amazon.
It is also available for £11.39 for the latest Arrow version which is a 4K restoration

Wonder what transfer the K one comes from or if it’s completely different...
