M700 restart ... for preparing

Hey,

sometimes my M700 restarts if I watch a BR. I start the movie, the loading screen appears, sometimes some of the BR logos, than the screens turns black and the message "preparing your Kaleidescape experience" appears.

This is really not very often. Any idea what this is?

Best,

Patrick

I get this every so often when I do a "Play disc". I am wondering too if this is normal since it doesn't happen a lot. For me, it has never happened when using "Play Movie".

I also get this approx once/month, only happens when navigating the menu for the disk, never happens once playing a movie. Not 100% sure if only Blu-ray, will monitor it as I have 50/50 split DVD to Blu.

Dupe...

Yes, this is my issue too. Only happens when navigating the menu structure. Also, once the M700 reboots the disc that "caused" the reboot always works the second time.

I have now gone several months without my M700 re-booting when I do a "play disc". I am wondering if K made firmware update that corrected this.

Is any else seeing an improvement in this?

John

Not had it for a good few weeks now so maybe... Just tried on one of the disks that seemed to be the worse for it and seems ok...

Dupe...
