Latest KoS Version & Changelog?

Just updated 50 or so movies. My IP must be wondering what’s going on. Lol. Thanks goodness for unlimited data. Need an update all button as I had to update each title individually. Not ideal, but it worked. May have not seen an easy way to do this. Thanks. SJ

I mentioned previously that we were going to be expanding the landing pages, and this is why we removed the Collections option from the Browse tab in the mobile app. Those expanded landing pages went live today. More details in this thread:

New kOS 10.7.1-21095 for the Encore systems. Anything new?

Thank you!

Kostas

It's basically bug fixes and a few performance improvements. Not much worthy of highlighting, except these two:
  1. Fixed an issue that prevented deleting movies with multiple versions from the browser interface.
  2. Fixed a problem that prevented Co-Star pairing a Strato player and an M700

This one is mostly just bug fixes. Nothing particularly widespread or prominent.

Howdy folks! Just a heads-up that the iOS and Android apps will be updating to version 1.2.1 shortly. Mostly under-the-hood improvements and bug fixes, but the largest user-visible change relates to movies where the release dates differ for different quality versions. In the case of movie pre-orders, if the dates are different, we will now display per-version release date information. We also give you more explicit feedback if, for example, you're buying the 4K version of a movie but one of your systems can only play HD, and the HD version is not yet available.

iOS users should also see an improvement to app responsiveness during the first minute or so after launching. We inadvertently introduced a bit of a performance bottleneck when we expanded the number of collections that the apps display on the landing pages, and that could cause other app functionality to be blocked (e.g., loading the notifications tab could take many seconds if done right after launch.

iOS App v 1.2.1 has just been released. Thanks Mike!

Sweet. Everyone do a review on App Store. It’s only got 2 in the UK at, at present 😁

Yep, in addition to a few bug fixes, this release updates the onscreen store to better handle cases where not all qualities of a movie are available at initial release. The messaging is clarified, and we're more explicit about what will be downloaded. This is similar to the updates that were recently made to the mobile app.

Anyone else missing the “Play All Scenes” feature that we used to have in a previous kOS version? I find that I am really missing this feature and wish we still had this capability.

I agree on liking it. That option seems to have been removed.

There are no new or changed features in this release from the prior 10.7.2 release.

10.7.2-21395 contains bug fixes for a couple of issues that only affected the Strato C. One fix corrects a potential crash that could occur once when the Strato C upgraded to a new kOS version. The other fix corrects some transient behavioural issues that prevented the mini detail flyout from being displayed on the OSD covers place and could cause some navigation issues on the OSD store covers view place.
