Kserver 5000 No Nic Lights

Booted the system today and no nic lights on the back of the server or the switch. Waited another 5 minutes just to be sure. Drives and fans are running fine.

Changed the switch port, changed the ethernet cable. Is this a dead nic card?

Is a replacement part available from kscape or otherwise?

I don't think the nic is replaceable as it is integrated with the motherboard. The first step would be to try and connect the serial port on the server to a computer (use a USB to serial adapter if necessary). Use putty to access the serial port and the server should send diagnostic information when it is booting.

This post show an example of what the output will look like: http://www.kscapeowners.com/forums/showpost.php?p=22814&postcount=7

If you get output, it will provide some clues on how to proceed.
