  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

I have One 3U for sale. KSERVER-5000 w/Twelve 2TB Drives and One 4TB Drive It does not have a Hot Spare, but all drives working. $2,800, including shipping within continental US. It is Grandfathered (can import DVD from physical disc). It is not under warranty, but was working fine before it was boxed up a few months ago (tested twice in between). It has been stored in a climate controlled room with other AV gear, with no issues other than not having a Hot Spare. I will also supply any part available from Kaleidescape for the 3U at dealer cost, should the need arise within the first 12 months (mainly referring to a power supply and fan kit).

Would also be a good back-up to support a 3U system going forward.

Maybe I'm confused. You have one listed above then you say one sold and 2 remaining. Then you say second 3U sold only I remaining.
So, you had 3 and now you're down to one?
All 3 had the same exact set of hard drives?
 
I think I see what happened, you saw the original post that included 3 separate 3U servers (each with different drive sets). Two servers sold almost immediately and I edited the original listing to reflect I only have one server for sale. (Mostly 2TB drives, needs a hot spare)

I did not edit subsequent posts, sorry for the confusion.
