Kaleidescape Terra Server, Strata C Bundle Deals?

If my memory is any good, wasn' t there a post here by the Moderator that Kaleidescape, through dealers, is offering $500 off on a Terra Server 24TB or 40TB AND also as many Strato C players you want to add for $500 each, through a certain date (the end of February for sure, perhaps into March)? Also, wasn't there another post that for every dollar you spend you get a percent store credit? Are these terms correct? Is this deal still on? Through what date?

That thread has the pricing specifics, which is $500 off Terra and $2000 off each Strato C purchased with the Terra.

This is the other quote from an email from the CEO: “If you would like to add 4K capability to your Premiere system, through March 31st, we are offering movie store credit of 10% of MSRP on all Strato/Terra purchases. The program includes a free Co-Star for each Premiere player you own, plus a free preload of your purchased content (including disc-to-digital) on Terra servers. Also, through March 31st, there is attractive promotional pricing on Strato C players and Terra servers. Contact your dealer to find out more.”

There are currently 2 separate promotions available. One promo is a $500 price reduction on the Terra Servers (either model), and in addition, if you purchase one of these Terra Servers you have the option of adding a Strato-C at a $2,000 discount off of msrp (from $4,995 discounted to $2,995). You do NOT need to trade in components, these are a straight discounted purchase.

The other promo is aimed at Premiere owners that DO NOT currently own Strato/Terra (the goal being to have Premiere only owners add a Strato or Terra to their systems).
If you own a 1U, 1U+, 3U or 5U, you can add a Terra Server at the stated discount, and get both a store credit ($1200 - $1600), and a free download service from K.

If you own an M-class Player (M300, M500, or M700) you can add a Strato player and get store credit ($300 (C), $600 (6TB), $900 (12TB) and a free Co-Star Switch Kit. Currently scheduled to run through March 31st.

Did you mean a free movie download (in addition to the dollar-value credit,) or is there some other kind of download service K is/will be offering?

K offers a factory download service ($250 for up to 100 movies), for folks buying the Terra Server. An owner selects the Store content, purchases the Terra, pays the relevant fee, and K will pre-load the Terra with the selected movies prior to shipping to the owner. K will provide a quote for content above 100 movies. This is the service currently included free of charge in the above "Premiere to Strato Add-On Program."

Any current bundle deals or upgrade deals for Premiere owners? Looking to move up to Strato/Terra units in near future. Just looked in store and says i have 575 movies. My ISP has a max of 100 Mbps and I can usually only get 1 or 2 movies downloaded per night. Their preload service would be helpful but afraid I am relegated to used equipment by my budget!!!

The current "Premiere to Strato" program allows for the return of the components indicated below to K for an upgrade to a Terra Server (24TB or 48TB) and Strato-C. The trade-in provides a discount off of dealer cost. Check with your dealer for pricing. If you don't have a dealer either I can help or you can contact K Sales and they can put you in touch with a dealer in your area.

No, the program that allowed for that ended the end of June. The only program currently offering Store credits is the "Buy-Back" program for specific Premiere products noted in that promo:

Dealers need to send an email to K Support with "Buy Back Program" in the subject line, and "Please send request form" in the body. Support will return the form to the dealer to process the order.

(NOTE: There is no "margin" (or fees) for the dealers, so some may be slow or reluctant to get involved in the process, BUT, as your dealer they have agreed to support you, and they should, so if that doesn't happen let K know so they can help you with the process.)
