K Newbie/New Install hints/tips?

So after months of research (and begging to the wife), I’ll soon take delivery of a Strato C and a Compact Terra 18 TB Server. Thanks Cinelife for all of your info. Much appreciated!

I’m going to do the install myself with the server in the bedroom (have network and power source there) and the player in the main room (no room to add any more electronic devices there).
Any suggestions/tips on the installation would be greatly appreciated!
Do i plug in the Strato C first? Or the Compact Terra?

Not sure that it matters which order, as you will add them to your account and then they will pair up. (I recently installed my first Terra/Strato-C and it was a breeze!) But you'll go to the Web Browser and it will say something like "Add Kaleidescape components to your account" and then you should both devices there to add and voila! You're done! :)

Being serious, you know to reach out to me for the install I hope......:)

We always install the Server to the LAN first, followed by any players, but in any case, as discussed, call me when you're ready, and congrats. welcome to the K family!

As Jim says, it makes the most sense to set up the Terra server first. The Strato C can't do anything until it is grouped with a server.
