John Wick 4

Hmmm. I watched the movie on Tuesday night, and I didn’t notice any issue with the audio. (I did notice that my subwoofers got a thorough workout throughout!) I watched the 4K UHD version with the Atmos audio track.

I just re-watched the scene with the subtitles on to make sure there wasn't some dialog that I didn't notice was missing. All the dialog is as I heard it the first time.

I watched it last night too and didn’t notice any audio issues other than wife complaining about the bass effects. Definitely a fun movie.

I manually triggered the download as well.
Just watched it.

There was one odd moment though. In the final scene, the main bad guy talks to Mr. Caine, but the voices cannot be heard. The subtitles did show the conversation though. Is there just an error on the soundtrack, or was the voice track deliberately muted in that scene.
If someone has the movie on another platform (e.g. AppleTV, 4K Disc, ...), could you check? Also, if you watch it on K, can you check that scene to see if your download has the same issue? I did still get some background music, which is why I think it wasn't my amplifier or something.

Keeping the scene description vague in order not to put spoilers up :)
Simon, weren't you among those of us with the audio-drop near the end of Alien (and whatever that other movie was that came up a week or two later, where some had issues and others didn't?)

No, at least not that I noticed.

I'll rewatch the scene this weekend to check if it was just a glitch or not
