Is there a way to filter or sort list of movies?

I’m a fairly new Kaleidescape owner. I have a Premiere system. I can’t seem to figure out whether there are options for sorting or filtering my library? For example, can I filter or sort by genre?

Thanks!

Go to the list view, move to the right until the genre column is highlighted, and select it. Each movie typically has multiple genres and you can easily view your library sorted by each genre in alphabetical order.

You can also create a custom collection for a particular genre if you want.

You can also filter the list, although you need to use either the mobile app or a suitable control system.

Select the list view on your player. Using the mobile app, go to the remote tab, and you'll see a text-entry box where you can enter text. The list will be filtered according to movies that contain the text you've entered. The filter applies to the selected column in the list. So for example, you might select the Director column, and then you could enter Nolan to see Christopher Nolan movies.
