Importing from Kaleidescape

I have a number of Bluerays eg Harry potter on the system
when I go to the store to look at upgrades these are offered as HD at ?15 to download
Seems a bit steep and is there an improvement between Blueray and HD
??
Thanks Neale

There is currently no "Blu-ray disc to digital" upgrade pricing for Blu-ray to HD on the Kaleidescape store. The only upgrade pricing available is for DVD to HD.

As for the difference in quality between the Blu-ray Disc and the Blu-ray Quality download; there is none. The Blu-ray quality downloads from the Kaleidescape store are the same as a Blu-ray disc as far as video and audio codecs are concerned. If you end up replacing your Blu-ray copy with an HD download, you gain back a vault slot.

Just wondering why when I look on the store with a blueray in the vault am I being recommended to upgrade

Neale, you should only see the HD upgrade as recommended if you have the DVD version, or if the HD version they are offering is different than the version you own (i.e. extended version).
