  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

Looking for a late model 3U server with 6tb drives. Partial or fully loaded

Looking to add another zone for playback, interested in finding a used Strato 6TB.
 
Wanted:

Adding another zone.

Strato S or non-S. Any TB size.
Terra server. Any TB size.

Prefer S 12TB. Prefer under warranty. Prefer all original accessories and packaging.
 
Oddly two months ago there was All kinds of Strato for sale here, eBay, even Amazon and now all pretty much gone.
 
I think a lot of those resales were people that upgraded to a larger component (6TB > 12TB, or added Terra). They were trying to beat the price increase that went into effect a couple months back. There were a couple that had to give up their complete systems for financial reasons.

And you had the knew owners getting into Kaleidescape prior to uv going away the end of May.

That was me. The last time I looked in K the Cinema One was the newest thing. With my large collection, prob 1/2 being UV, wanting to get that collection into as many digital retailers as possible; and seeing not only was the Cinema One clone, replaced by Alto, replaced by Strato, which had also been upgraded from 6/20 to 6/12 and they had fixed their financial issues I figured it was finally time. Now I’m looking for another Strato.

KServer 1500 Power Supply needed

Looking to save my old Kserver1500 from demise. I will be sending my power supply to power-medic to see if it can be revived but would like to have a known working unit.
 
Service kit 040

I just saw a service kit-040 for sale on EBay. I believe it's what you need for your server.
Maybe someone here can confirm usability.

FYI, there is no replacement power supply kit for the 1U. K only sells the PS kit for the 1U+. IIRC, several owners have found replacements online, but I don't have any details.

Power supply

I have a lead on a substitute but nothing confirmed yet. In the meantime I have sent the bad one into power-medic to see if they can rebuild it. If it is reworkable the charge will be around $100.00 I will post the results.
