  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

Wanted/ISO: Seeking a used Strato player or small HD Strato to add to my existing system (already have a Strato 12 and Terra 24). I don’t need storage just looking to add playback capabilities to another room. Looking for something inexpensive as this is a lower utilized space and would just be a “convenient to have”.
 
Wanted to buy: Strato C and Compact Terra. Used or new. Local dealers are not responsive and I can’t bring myself to buy from BestBuy.
 
WANTED: disc drive service kit for Cinema one 2nd gen. I need the entire drive unit not just the laser eye. Replaced the laser and it still makes a crazy noise and won’t read discs.
 
Looking for a CinemaOne second Gen. hard drive. I know it is a long shot, but hopefully someone has a functioning one to sell
 
Been keeping an eye out for awhile now with no luck, but still looking for a Co-Star should anyone be upgrading systems or getting rid of certain items.

Co-Star anyone?
 
Hello I have a 1U KServer and 1 drive has failed so I was wanted to purchase a 6TB to replace it.

Now from what I remember, the 1U servers were no longer being supported, so should I just get rid of my 1U all together now?

K still supports replacement drives on 1U/3U servers. I just replaced one in my 3U.

With exception to the drives, as noted by John above, you are correct regarding the 1U Server, there are little to no support parts for the 1U, and K does not repair 1U's. It can be sold, or traded to K to upgrade tp Terra/Strato.

If anyone has an Alto in good condition (especially the optical drive) in EUROPE, I'd be interested, if the price is right. Again, the unit has to be in EUROPE, with a 220V power adapter, and I don't want to be stuck with a tax bill when shipped from outside of the EU.
