  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

Sounds like the power supply in my 1U server died and they are currently out of stock on the replacements. I was wondering if anyone has a SVC KIT 0020 or a non-working 1U server they'd want to part out... Thanks in advance!
 
Link to a post from me, replacement 1U power supplies may be available now but I didn't find one last year so I came up with a 'Plan B'. In the end I mounted everything inside the server case and so far '2 dead' servers have been brought back to life and continue to run without issue.

I agree, totally unacceptable, I wouldn't mind knowing who that dealer is.....but obviously your call. Regarding the PS, I'm still not been able to locate a simple drop in replacement, hopefully someone will update this thread with more specific info. Jim

Well….. turns out I had a bad motherboard in my 1U and the new power supply didn’t fix my problem. (#Gutted) Do I’m looking to buy a grandfathered 1U without drives. Thanks!

I have an extra grandfathered 3U K5000 Server available.
Your drives will fit in as a set with a lot of room for expansion.
Also eliminates the power supply problem. K still sells them...

I did find a system. Had it for about a week now and love it! I highly recommend @fritzcurtis as a trustworthy and helpful seller!!
 
Hey everyone. Quick wacky question, I'm in process of restoring an ebay purchased K6000 player missing a white rubber eject button. Does anyone have a white rubber eject button available? Please PM me if you have one for sale!

Those may still be available from K, so if you can't locate one from somewhere else, you should check with Support. (They had them as recently as as a couple months ago.)

I certainly have some from a few dead K-4000 music players and I believe they are the same so if you can't get one locally I can dig them out and post from Europe.
