Noticed at Cedia that Kaleidescape is now supporting exporting our music to I-tunes in the next release this year.

It looks cool. If you have multplie itunes users you basically setup an itunes folder to send it to "music to go" and it will export directly into your itunes collection.

When I asked about sending from itunes to the Kscape, I was told "1 step at a time" So we will see how that goes.

Well, I guess some progress is better than none. "iTunes to Kscape" was projected for end of year 2006. It's my number one "wished for" upgrade to the Kscape. I have been holding off on really getting into the Kscape's music capabilities until then.

Obviously, if that's my biggest problem, I'll survive :)

As of now I rip my itunes to a cd and then upload to the kscape. The only problem with that is most of my itunes are seperate titles and not recognized by K so I have to go in there and add the title info, etc..

Maybe next year we will have that ability to sync with Itunes.

very big news indeed! I wonder if I'm off their beta-testing list now since this is the first I've heard of this. :(

Josh, I think they kept that improvement in-house.

So users can load music on to K, and have it export to itunes? That is pretty cool... will itunes be able to recognized everything?

(Thread closed as there's now an official announcement of this feature and a discussion of it elsewhere here on the board.)
