I am fairly new to Kaleidescape and I am thinking of selling my Cinema 1

I know the serial number and some of my DVD’s don’t have to be in the player for the movie to play.
I have uploaded over 200 music albums and downloaded some movies.
My questions are.
Approximately how much is it worth?
Am I meant to clear what is already stored on it?
It is Region B and I am UK based.
Thank you for any advice.

Jim and other dealers here can chime in more authoritatively, but I know that all media must be deleted before selling equipment and the new owner trying to register it. So the value is the value of the hardware only. You should be able to get a sense of what similar hardware has sold for recently in the marketplace area here.

Josh is correct, but I'll add that you can sell the C1 with the content installed provided you supply the physical discs for all of the content remaining in the C1 (store content should be deleted as well, but the buyer won't have access to playback anyway once they add the device to their own Store account).

I think you have a first-generation system and is grandfathered for the copying of DVDs, making it special.
