How to Only Download Best Quality Version

Is anyone aware of a setting to automatically only download the best available quality version of a movie, as opposed to multiple versions?
Now that I have all my Stratos only connected to 4K HDR tv's, I would have hoped that multiple quality versions of movies would no longer be downloaded by default, however I am finding that when I purchase additional movies, it still downloads multiple versions (if available) unless I uncheck the lower quality version. (I do have Alto's paired with Strato's so I can access the Disc Vault.)

Same here - the "issue" is the Altos (without them you wouldn't also get HD versions.)
Short answer is "no," though I've also asked.

Actually, if you go to the KStore, and you check to download all movies not already downloaded to your system, as you complete the checks when it asks you, it gives you the opportunity to download "Best" quality only. Even if you have Altos (and a DV-700 disc vault) in your system like I do.

I did notice this, however I download movies as soon as I purchase them, in which case it seems I need to go to the downloads que and delete the lower quality version to prevent the download.

Doesn't the store interface default to best-only when you make a purchase already? Are you curating what it should download before placing the purchase?

It does. I think the issue here is that the system contains Alto players, so it the automatic selection logic is trying to accommodate those playback zones as well. At present, there's not a mechanism to override that other than selecting the desired quality at purchase time, or deleting the item from the queue if you prefer.
