Head's Up: The Man From U.N.C.L.E. going to Arrow Video

Just a head's up for fellow owners... Arrow Video has announced the release of Guy Ritchie's The Man From U.N.C.L.E. on 4K UHD Blu-ray in the US.

In general, Arrow Video releases aren't available in the K Store. Hopefully the digital rights will remain with Warner Bros, and it will be an exception like Wild Things and Witness. However, there's always the chance that at release, or sometime between now and then, we could see this movie removed (or downgraded) from digital stores that don't have contracts with Arrow Video.

If this title is sitting in your wishlist, you might want to act.

thanks for the heads up, this has been in my wish list waiting for a sale. now it's a game of chicken - do I grab it now at $35, or do I wait to see if Warner offers an F.U. sale right before their rights expire?

It's already 4K HDR and Atmos, what's Arrow going to do with it?

Literally just release it on disc. It never got a 4K UHD Blu-ray release. The 4K release has been digital only, with the K Store being the winner for having the best quality available via any channel. Now it'll be on disc, with some new special features, physical swag, etc.

Ahhhhh, I guess that makes sense then. I didn't realize it hadn't gotten a UHD disc. So now it'll be on disc with a whole bunch of stuff I don't care about. I bought it on K already, just to be safe.

I wish we had the original TV series. I have them on Laserdiscs. I might pick up the DVDs and import to my K server one day. Some episodes are still a lot of fun.
