OFF-TOPIC Forum error message "OOPS - something went wrong"?

@josh Well. I just became a patron member. Hoping that helps offsets some costs of your labor managing and troubleshooting all these bugs.
I saw that @StanfieldNC ! Was writing you my personal thank you DM this morning. But in addition, thanking you here publicly for your support!

On the stats, if anyone's interested:
  • we get about 5,000 unique visitors in last 2 months,
  • there are 2,600 registered members of the forum here
    • (though only about 800 have been active here and logged in in last 2 months... this is the "active membership" of the forum
  • But less then 80 total members are currently signed up as paying members at Patron or Premium levels here, contributing to the costs of running the forum.
You're now in the small minority elite of that group, and it's much appreciated! I wouldn't keep the site running without this group's contributions... it's gotten very expensive to keep the forum running: hosting fees, domain costs, forum software licenses, SSL certificate...

So thank you!
(Anyone else who wants to join, it's quick and easy... start here.)

Glad to be part of it and thanks for sharing those stats!

I think many of us have truly discovered the value of this forum by sharing experiences with the Strato V and/or by selling used equipment. I would encourage everyone who benefits to consider joining as a premium or patron member. (I think the cost is $80 / $100 per year). 80 paying members out of 800 who have logged in the past two months (and 2,600 registered) is not a great testament to our community. I know first-hand the cost (and headache) of running a website or app. And, I appreciate all the time and effort by @josh (and @cinelife ), as well as the contributions by many members who provide very useful information.

My post has not been solicited by anyone. It is just my humble opinion.

I've always received the "OOPS" error when using the forum's built-in emojis (smilies), ever since joining. Testing again now to see if the fix works.

Thanks for checking. Glad it’s working now. Looking at the server logs, this accounts for many, but not all, of the errors, so I’m not yet convinced it’s fully fixed, but glad at least this common use case is now working for you guys.
