Fortress Seating D-Box Kaleidescape

I installed a Fully optioned Fortress Chair ($24,000 for 1 chair) with D-Box in a small family room with a NZ9, MadVR, Josh.ai, full Wisdom Audio LS3, Kaleidescape 180" 2.35 wall to wall screen and the homeowner never leaves his new chair. Like he lives in the chair over 12 hours a day with a smile.

Anyone else with D-Box and is as addicted as this owner? I feel like its one of those sim rides, not sure if I would want it in my theater.

Holy Cow, $24K a chair?

I got a quote from Cineak of $63K for seven chairs and still digesting the same. $24K a chair makes me think I am getting a deal.

I own two D-Box activated Fortress Chairs since 2010 and enjoy them every time I watch a movie. In the early days the haven't been so expensive. I am still thinking on updating them to the new four axis ones as I have the three axis ones, but I will probably wait till the old ones start failing.

That price, $24K, must include the full D-Box system. We've been selling Fortress for 15+ years, with an average of 6 seats per sale. Pricing does vary, but on average they're $3500 per chair. The fabric and leather quality affect pricing, as does any customization. The cost of adding D-Box increases the cost, but that cost decreases as you add additional chairs. Not surprising on the Cineak quote, they also make great chairs, but we sell far more Fortress than Cineak.

Posting so that someone will share their address so I can come sit in their 24k chair. For research purposes. :)
