  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

SOLD: For Sale: M700 Disc Vault w/ Brand New Disc Drive

For sale is my Kaleidescape M700 Disc Vault with S/N 060000010491. It is fully functional and comes with the OEM box and packaging materials. This vault is set to Blu-Ray region A, DVD region 2. All four changes remain for the DVD region setting. There is a brand new OEM disc drive service kit installed in this unit, which was purchased from Jim (cinelife), who bought it directly from Kaleidescape. This service kit cost $350 and was installed on February 4, 2021. The M700 is set to DHCP and ready for its next owner.

There is only one slight cosmetic flaw. One of the screws to remove the upper shell from the chassis was seized, so it required to be drilled out. Fortunately, this screw is hidden behind the rack mount bracket on the side so with the rack ears installed you don't see this screw hole at all and does not affect its rigidity.

I've got a good shipping broker so I can help facilitate shipping quotes plus insurance via FedEx Ground, if the buyer needs assistance, at rates cheaper than retail. I accept Paypal, Venmo, check (item to be sent one funds clear) etc.

For anyone concerned that this M700 is Blu-ray Region "A," that Region can be changed to "B" or "C" online by the Dealer (assuming the Dealer can see the Vault in the Dealer Extranet), or by K Support. This is allowed for resales.
