The forum is free to use and most of the forum can be used by guests who are not registered....

... but we strongly encourage you to register for a full account. There is no cost to register for a full account.

Benefits of registering for a full account:

    • Participate in the discussions! You must have a registered account to make posts on the forums. You will be able to start your own thread on a topic or question, or you can reply to other threads/discussions.
    • Use the "Conversation" feature (known as "private messaging" on other forums) to communicate directly with any of the other users here.
    • Access the Files area. The "resources" area of the forum contains many "Favorite Scene" and Script files that can dramatically increase the enjoyment of your Kaleidescape system. Go directly to great scenes in your favorite movies, created by other owners, and add automation to playback of your system with Scripts.
    • You won't see this annoying notice at the top of every screen!😊

It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

For more information on purchasing a Premium or Patron membership, please see the Account Upgrades section of your user profile.

I have a First Generation, K-System 120 Cinema One for sale. It’s in really nice condition. Comes with the side panels, remote, power cord, and demo carry case.
The unit will ship in the original DEMO Kaleidescape embroidered black carry case; that will then be in a shipping box. The case (Almost like a small suit case), has a heavy duty foam surround on the inside to insure no damage.
The unit is in my own personal rack and has (4) 500GB cartridge drives. It’s 100% operational with no issues. It is not Grandfathered, but is a Premier line component. Adding it to a Grandfathered system allows it to operate as a Grandfathered unit...As this server imported 100% in my Grandfathered system.

It’s a nice unit and I’m letting it go at a reduced rate to get some equipment moved quickly.

**** I have a Grandfathered Cinema One listed for sale in a separate post****

I’ve reduced price to $399 and shipping will be $49 for within continental US.

Thanks,
Cal

Dthemenise,
Thank you for the interest. I sent you some answers and explanations to the concerns you listed. I hope this helps and again call me on the number I left if you need a better understanding.

Thank You,
Cal

This option would work for you.....I’ve had it connected this way in my system for months with no issues....but, of course I experimented all night long last night to try ever option....and it all worked as it was supposed to.

I have one more option for you. I have a Grandfathered First generation Cinema one....same as the first one in the pics,,,,it’s in great condition....same drive space, but can be used as a stand-alone one since it’s Grandfathered....I’ll go $700 on it with $100 shipping..... For condition and cleanliness.....you want Find a better deal....there getting Harder to find and there always beat up when you find them...
Heck....I’ll even do them both for $1300 and $200 shipping.
Wasn’t planning on selling the other one....but, I do both if your wanting them...

Cal

Absolute bargain... I'd buy it myself if I wasn't already trying to sell one 🙃
