Just announced:
As of today, Vudu has entered into an agreement to be acquired by Fandango. Know that your movie & TV library is safe, and you will continue to have access across your favorite devices. There will be more exciting news in the months ahead, in the meantime, you can find more details here:
 
Oh wow. There's been rumbling of VUDU being offered up for sale for some time now.

The interesting part will be to see if FandangoNOW or VUDU gets shuttered. They really don't need two services doing the same thing. VUDU is probably the stronger customer brand and stronger streaming technology/library.
