DV700 Occasionally Checks Discs

Is it normal for the DV700 to go through all the discs the vault and check them? I have had this happen twice since I’ve owned the system. Seems to be roughly once every six months. It’s an issue except there inevitably will be a couple of discs it doesn’t recognize. I wind up putting them back in a time or two and it’s fine. I just wanted to know if this is normal. Thanks!

Yes, it's normal, but it does not check every disc, it conducts a periodic spot check of random dics, etc..
