Have a Cinema one. and filling up the hard drive at about 400 dvds so far
The occasional disc wont work due scratches/ disc rot which is expected
Note I am UK so region 2
But, Drag Me To Hell on DVD failed to load with 15 minutes remainng. Some light scratches
Bought another one that had visible disc rot , so left that one. Seller sent another which was unuseable due to bad scratches.
So another used from MusicMagpie and disc was as new no visible marks. Failed loading at 8 minutes remaining.
Finally Amazon and Brand New sealed copy. so mint. just failed at 12 minutes remaining

Just asking if anyone has come across the same issue, as it appears to be disc related

Being serious, it's always difficult to say what causes this when trying to import discs. It could be a coding problem on the disc construction end, it could be cheap disc pressings (separate from the scratches, damaged disc, etc.), but more likely in my opinion it might be an issue with the optical drive in the C1. Perhaps a combination of the optical drive and disc issues.

It sounds to me like you've done all you can do with the actual discs. Isn't "Drag Me To Hell" in the UK Store?

Jim
