Disney and Fox Price Reductions

FYI, Disney and Fox title pricing has been reduced broadly across the store. Perhaps indicative of a new pricing strategy by Disney due to market conditions and such. Hope it sticks permanently.

Thanks and keeping fingers crossed! Buying "Underwater" and couple of other movies now! For once I can take advantage of a sale/better pricing as I usually buy at release :)

I'm looking at Vudu and every single Disney 4k title I've looked at that would formerly have been priced at $24.99 is now $19.99.

That's what this discussion is about. Disney titles used to be $33.99 on the KScape store. The $19.99 price is Vudu's new price, they used to be $24.99 there.
 
This is great. Going through them, it appears to me that 4K 33.99 are now 26.99 for 4K and HD. HD titles that were 26.99 and 21.99 are still priced that way, no change.
 
Aladdin (original), Moana, Brave, Tangled, Little Mermaid, Princess of the Frog - in HDR - are $13.99/$16.99 in the store!!

Cinderella, Beauty & Beast (original), Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Pocahontas - HD only - are $13.99/$16.99 in the store!! (Just nervous about buying these should HDR/Atmos version appear without upgrade pricing)
 
Looks like this is a Princess sale by Disney. These same titles are marked down elsewhere too ($9.99 on iTunes). I wouldn't buy any Disney HD titles in the Kaleidescape store nowadays as they will all likely (IMO) get 4k updates at some point.
 
Aye, I just received the formal “special pricing” email shot from K. Aye, agreed, they seem to be working their way through the back catalogue with updates.
