Deepwater Horizon Audio “Gaps”?

Watched my first movie on my new Strato V last night. Deepwater Horizon as the title says. Two or three times during the movie (which was great never watched it before) the audio completely cut out for 1-2 seconds before coming back of its own accord. I can’t tell if this is an issue with this one title, a one time weird thing, or something with my system though but it definitely made me unhappy!

Has anyone experienced this with this movie specifically or a Strat V in general? Sorry if this isn’t the right forum for this question!

System is Strato V hooked up to Marantz Cinema 50. Using the included HDMI cable and network cable.

Without a Strato V, I can't comment on my experience specifically with that player, buy do have the movie on my Terra/Strato S and don't recall ever encountering any audio issues during the multiple times I've watch this movie.

What I can say is that in general, to determine if the issue is likely with the piece of content, or something in the environment, you should rewind and watch the scene a few times and see if the issue happens at the EXACT same moment. If it does, then it is very likely an issue with the content. If the issue cannot be repeated, then it is likely something with the environment (e.g., network, HDMI, etc.)

Another tip to help with troubleshooting if you contact K support. When you encounter an issue like this, press a couple buttons on your remote that aren't typical. Say something like '5 5 5' or '7 7 7'. When you contact support, these button presses will be captured in the logs at roughly the same moment of the issue. With this timestamp captured, it is much easier for them to dig in and hopefully help out quicker.

Good luck!

Andy

I am still having audio cutout and sometimes picture freezing/stuttering issues on my V.
Long thread on folks with similar problems, I know they are working on it but frustrating nonetheless.

I don't think it's the movie as I have it and no issues, but I am going through a Starto C.
