For me, this is one of those "once seen, can't unsee" things, and then you go looking for it and see it in countless scenes.
I'm not sure what is at fault here. Possibly it is the file, possibly it is something else in the chain (Anthem AVM90, Samsung QA65Q60RA), but in many scenes where Deadpool's mask/helmet is brightly lit, there is a strong shimmering effect to be seen in the texture.
I'd appreciate it if those with better displays could check at around 1 hour 30 minutes and 34 seconds into the movie (specifically, exactly on the word "they're" when Deadpool says "Disney brought him back, they're..."), where this shimmering is very evident on the side of the mask that is lit. This is definitely not simply a natural effect of the light on the texture - it's a digital artifact.
I'm hoping that maybe there is something in my TV settings that is doing some processing that is causing this.
