Creator movie quality

I started watching creator movie yesterday. I did not like the picture quality. Not sure if anyone experienced. I see good ratings on forums for picture though.

It's a bit all over the place, the director shot everything on an inexpensive (relatively) camera and added film grain to varying degrees throughout. The complaint is with the director, not with Kaleidescape.

Thanks for the clarification. I see this has highest ratings and thought issue with kscape.

"with its ultra-wide aspect, and gritty aesthetic, reveals discerning levels of detail, definition, color delineation, and emboldened contrast that elevate its thematic impact."

Gritty aesthetic is the indicator there...

You did catch the phrase :) . The numbers are 96 for presentation. I did not like ultrawide as well as there are black bars even for 2.40 screen.

I certainly understand, but the frame was used perfectly, so I'm okay with it. I can understand going wider than these films being put out in 1.33:1 in 2024. :)

yes. Otherway has more issues. It is very rare I saw black bars on top as most of movies are 2.40 or below.
