Coverart presentation with missing BR

If I recall at one point in the past, if a BR disc was missing from the vault then it would be "greyed out" slightly in the covers and list views, to make it more evident that the movie can't be played. Has something changed recently? I have just sent off a number of BR to Kaleidescape for video bookmarking and none of those titles now missing from the vault are greyed out in the GUI at all!
My 5 year old is chewing me out about why his movie won't play, and I tried to explain to him not to play the "greyed out" covers and nothing was greyed out.....so he doesn't know which movies he can and can't choose because the coverarts of missing BR can't be differentiated from those which can be played.
I know I can put all those missing BR into the "trash" temporarily, but it was neat the way it used to work.
What was the reason for the change, assuming this was something changed in the KEAOS? Can we have it put back to the way it was before? About only half or less of my new BR content is recognized properly by the movie guide db (with video book marks), so I have been sending the discs to Kaleidescape for processing (what a great service!!). The turn-around time on BR is very quick, but in the meantime it would still be nice to have those missing titles differentiated from the others in the GUI in some obvious way.

Covers aren't greyed out. The titles in the list view and collections view should be greyed out. From the covers view, the only way to tell if a Blu-ray disc is not present is to display the detail sheet for that title. The play items ("Play Movie", etc) will be greyed out.
