I have noticed probably since the last Kaleidescape update, around 2 months now a lot of lag when moving around in cover art view. Moving between covers has a delay at the end before the covers come to a stop which never used to happen. Terra 48 and Strato C. Nothing has changed in my setup and I have tried restarting both server and player and it makes no difference. The server is only around half full.
 
Try restarting your router and Ethernet switch, as this might help. Over heating of your router or increase in traffic on your local home network could also cause lag.
 
Thanks I done a full reboot on my Control 4 system which includes the router and both switches. Still no joy. My dealer has added the latest update today so I will try that but as its only one build behind he doesn't think it will make a difference. He is also checking the router and network switch's firmware.

All updates done and its still lagging as such. Its hard to describe but when you move between cover art images it takes about 1 second to stop moving where as before it was instant.
 
never heard of this issue. can you shoot a video on your phone and try to post it? Have you tried contacting Kaleidescape Support?
