  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

FOR SALE: Complete system - 5U server, two players

Hello all,

For sale is my complete Kaleidescape system, consisting of:
1 - KSERVER 2500 5U server
4 - 750GB disk cartridges installed in above
1 - KPLAYER 2500 Movie Player (with upscaling and HDMI output)
1 - KPLAYER 5000 Movie Player 2 (with upscaling, HDMI output, and front-mounted DVD/CD loading drive)

They are all in very good shape, with only a few very minor scuffs on the top and (where applicable) rack ears. The KSERVER 2500 and KPLAYER 5000 both come with rack mounting hardware. The KPLAYER 2500 was serviced by Kaleidescape a couple of years ago, receiving a new power supply and fan. I no longer have the original boxes, but they will be very well packaged.

$5,500.00 plus shipping, for the complete system.
