Does anyone know how to tell if a cinema one is first or second gen?
Or what the serial number changed to at 2nd

It's a completely different architecture and models. Gen 1 is a premiere unit with a fold down face and up to 4 removable hard drives.

2nd gen looks just like an alto.

The Gen 1 is also called the K-120 system and if you open the front panel it has slots for four hard drives. I haven’t seen a 1st gen unit in quite a while.
